That was harsh.
Yes, he as well as Zanuck, Schlesinger, and many other hollywood execs were hard to work with, but if they weren't, would we have the mega classics we all enjoy? I think not. DeMille was one hard man to work for, and so was DW Griffith. Chaplin himself, while owning his own studio was known to work long and hard... and because of that we can sit back and enjoy TRUE GLORIOUS entertainment.
So, understand when you come here and post something like this, some of us will come back with strong reasoning to oppose your statement.
